betty,

A few more points to consider:

Everything I have read thus far and the few contacts I have had from Astra have been very positive.

Astra is an extremely conservative company and usually only makes conservative statements. Astra told me that they did not feel threatened by Viagra and planned on capitalizing of the increased awareness. They also told me that the safety profile of MUSE vs Viagra would be their key selling point.

As I stated before, a well known German cardiologist will soon be presenting a paper that will be very damaging to Viagra and its safety profile. I still thing the liability issues surrounding Pfizer will either restrict its sale or pull it. I have just seen too many other drugs pulled with much fewer safety problems. I also was told that 3 wrongful death lawsuits have been filed against Pfizer due to Viagra. The safety issues seem to be mentioned by the media about once a week and then we here nothing for a while. This will eventually come to a head and when it does the Vivus shareholder will be given back what was taken due to Viagra. Again the question is how long. The tuna predicted 6 months. October is near.
