So are you saying that no sale has taken place at all?

If you are expecting them to pump the price up for the conversion wouldn't you be better off to close your current short and then short again after they've finished pumping? The CSFB shares are not registered yet (I've heard) so they can't sell for awhile. If CSFB is already short, wouldn't they want the deterioration to continue?

Does this mean that you don't think CSFB is currently short?
