no, for at times the PREM will climb at close, as opposed to falling as you've been noting ....... the main reason is that one of the participants ceases to be tradable (SPX) and the other remains in acton (SP8U) as per Lee's post just previous to this one on the bonds. ......

We'll see if some one else comes in and make it more clear or muddy while I feed my wife ......
