Randy, protective stops and trailing stops separate the professionals from the average trader...They take emotion out of the variable....Earlier today I was upset when my stop took me out with a 1/2 point profit on STBI at 8 3/4...The stock then moved again toward 9.00...But by the end of day, STBI ended up with a poor close...Thank, you very much, trailing stop...Regards, Mark
