You've almost got it right. I also said, "Conversely, when the S&P goes into the toilet like it did last week, money flows into Cendant..." We agree that CD is not in step with the S&P.

But to say Cendant went up 20% is somewhat misleading, since in order to go up 20% it had to reach a new low first.

However, you are correct if what you meant was, "Cendant ran up 20% from where that bearish SOB Apakhabar bought it at 13 7/8."

Don't be alarmed that the ABI deal is going to put a lid on the price of CD for a little while. From here, I finally agree with all you bulls on this board, the downside is not imposing. A couple of months of consolidation between 15-20 will only help the stock when it finally breaks out. The funds won't be afraid of it by then. Think of all the time Ascend spent around $25 share from November to February, and look where it is now.
