Pezz: The problem I had with the speech was that he did not say he was sorry and he blamed his trouble on Starr. Who was it having sex with a 21 year old intern after all. This was a do anything, say anything, pay anything cover up on his part which cost taxpayers MILLIONS of dollars. Damn right I did not think he said enough. He should have said, "I resign". JLA

In no way do I take
what I read on this thread as the pulse of public opinion.

Smart of you. The people on this thread are mostly technically sophisiticated, have enough money to own a computer and pay money to join what is basically an investment board, tend to be more educated than average (check the profiles), and have the interest to discuss these issues at some length and spend time plowing through hundreds of posts. Plus, we have a higher average of males than in society at large, though we have some very excellent female posters (yes, specifically including you bp and Michelle and others). This is not a cross sample of the general public. On the other hand, it is probably much more educated about politics and history than the general public, too, for what that's worth if anything.
