Day trader's dilemma: Amazon up 5, buy or sell?

Well it depends on your time horizon and your attitude towards the Market. My market attitude is bearish, so this looks like a bear market rally. My timing is one month, i.e. I sold Sept. calls. So until otherwise indicated I'm holding my shorts (up).

But on a day trading basis, this isn't fun. I don't like the 100,000 share buy this morning. It looks like a signal to the market that there is buying power in reserve for the day. I think day traders see that and feel comfortable buying into rallies. The buying pressure could push Amzn up more, depending on the Dow and other big picture factors. I would not be a short term short seller right now.

Just my 2 cents.
