I wrote 2 Dell Aug 100 puts for $5 premium a few weeks ago; looks like I will keep the $1K. wrote 4 LU puts yesterday; hopefully I will get those too.

Am I the only one that thinks this whole whisper number thing is just plain stupid? If the number were only for a select few in Wall Street so that they would have some kind of advantage over everyone else, I can see its point. However, if the average investor like myself can obtain the whisper number, what's the point of its existence? People then place their bets on this number instead of the "true" estimate. Seems like setting your watch five minutes ahead to me. You compensate for it in your mind and it then becomes pointless.

Oh well, just wanted to gripe because I'm tired of watching AMZN go up. <g>
