Maybe, Motorola would consider buying some phones from a local supplier. Do you know if the venture is a QPE affair? I assume all other phone manufacturing operations outside San Diego (i.e Mexico) are also QPE affairs. Am I right here?

On the SEA front, BCE Intl (aka Nortel sister) is buying a chunk of Hansol PCS.

Nec DO BRAZIL already won contracts to build cdma infrastucture for telsp cellular and telrj cellular sao paulu and rio de janiero

so by October some system should role out in sao paulo
and IT HAS ALREADY on a small scale in IN RIO DE JANIERO and Salvador
