Perhaps you should be awarded the doctorate of shit detection. That would make you:

Dr. Pink, DSD

Kind of a nice ring. I would congratulate you further, but I am busy kicking myself repeatedly, for not listening to you or my heart on the ENVY short. My short limit order was not filled yesterday and I figured I could get to it today. Unfortunately, I was away from computer for most the day....

Must return to kicking myself.

Again, great work.

Dr. Seuss, KMS

<<You may not like Mr. Pink and He may have made a few errors in ICBC, AHG, DOSE and a couple of other lemons>> ICBC in the same breath as AHG? Banking shares have fallen in general and ICBC is down just a bit more than its peers. Have you sold your position? I believe than ICBC was Dan's number two position after SHSE.
What happened to TAVA today?
Congrats on ENVY and CYBX!! I too tried to short some ENVY but alas I could not find any shares.
Andrew

Both the superlative growth in sales and the rigorous application of lower of cost or market to inventory valuation should be noted by all. The amazing vigor with which they collect receivables should also warm the hearts of holders of this BOS.

TAVA - what to do? What to do?

I recently covered my entire TAVA short (average 5 a share) because I was spooked by a surge in volume when the stock touched its 52 week low. I also noticed a rapid increase in internet hysterics and threats directed at short-sellers.

Either I called it right or it was dumb luck, the stock is now up 40% from that low. Naturally, I'm going to bet on its re-decline - but I'm not certain what strategy to use.

TAVA is about to announce "earnings". Right now I'm leaning towards waiting until a few days prior to release and buying puts.

Any thoughts?

Really nice call on ENVY.
ACRT really wowed the street with
their "earnings" report.

Keep your advice coming.

Mr. Pink, are you familiar with Foster Wheeler, FWC? It has a book value of $15.50 trading at $14 with a 6% dividend and a long history of honest management and dividend payments. Backlog of orders looks decent, nothing bad enough to account for the 70% drop in the stock price.
The disaster concerning the "Robbins Project" is all I can find, besides the impending world recession, that would cause this company to get smashed as it has.
Even so, from my figures, this wouldn't cause bankruptcy.
Is there value here, or am I missing something?

Are you still short ENVY? Is it attractive to enter at current levels?
