Wrong again,

All Starr needs to prove perjury is Clinton's admission of a sexual relationship with Lewinsky. Clinton's lying and stonewalling forced the OIC to pursue all known sources, hence, he and he alone is responsible for the "collateral damage" of those he involved.

Clinton admitted to perjury last night. He thinks he slid the legal loophole but Judges and juries can not be spun. They will apply the law to the facts. Clinton had said under oath that he did not have an affair with Monica even if you accept his stilted reading of the definition of sex in the lawsuit. That is perjury. JLA

Starr had grand aspirations before this. I wonder how he will reflect on his handling of this situation in a few years. At this moment he is tremendously, tremendously unpopular (Ive seen him compared to McCarthy) and I suspect that as a result of this laws will come to pass restricting the charter of any independent counsel to the matter at hand. I just wonder how he views himself here.

<<Part of proving the perjury is destroying the credibility of the person you are persuing>>

It's funny seeing a comment like this from someone supporting Clinton, since that is the main tactic that Clinton has used with every single person accusing him. He used that tactic to get the Travel Office group fired and replaced with his friends. He used that tactic on Starr, on Lewinsky, on Tripp, on every republican in Congress, on the "vast right wing conspiracy", on all the Arkansas-hating crazies in America. Who is really the zealot here? Starr was given a job to do (by Janet Reno), and he has been pursuing where the evidence leads. Calling Monica's mother was the right thing to do, since she was the one withholding the dress. Betty Currie should have been called, since whe would have seen that Monica was alone with Clinton, something else that Clinton lied about. Etc., etc., etc.

Starr is not to blame - Clinton, the sexual addict, the pathological liar, the abuser of power, the grand staller, is to blame.
