>Look at the chart! It's going downhill....you'd think that the introduction of that computer would give the stock some "legs". ... On the other hand...look at the INTEL charts ... I hope I didn't make a mistake.<

cribbed from Yahoo! AAPL

>To all the Newbies: Options Week:

If the Nasdaq market for AAPL was clean, we'd have passed 50
a long time ago. However, there are some large institutions,
who have written a ton of calls, and need keep AAPL down as
far as they can this week. Every dollar we close above 40 on
Friday will cost the writers about $20 million.

Buy AAPL. Be smug knowing it will hit 200 before the year
2000. Just don't expect it to get there this week.

Keep the faith baby - Seybold's a'comin !

>> " don't forget graphic design is one of the last big vertical market holds Apple has... what happens if they all go PC? " <<

Seybold this year its an ecumenical (INTC/AAPL) event but if AAPL's 366mz big'un shows up running on UNIX (OS X) the little ole 400mz INTC will have no where to melt:

Mr J is a Keynoter and you can expect he will spout his "iMAC swats INTC's fastest" mantra in his speech to the publishing pros.

You can be ASSURED that graphics designers will NOT move to PCs.

First, the Macintosh is a far superior machine for graphics design.

Second, graphics designers HATE Microsoft and Windows. They would rather use a 3 year old Mac than a brand new PC.

And don't worry about not enough demand for the iMac. Apple's major problem right now is making enough iMacs to meet the incredible demand.
