Well now, invest in IBM??? Why not!
Long term strategy looks good!
Still heavy into UNIX solutions!
Much better than what MSFT is doing!

So, if IBM believes in SUNW's innovations, then it's just
a matter of time before SUNW's stock price breaks upward and
beyond! I'll hang on to my SUNW shares and my IBM shares!
I see both of these growing fast and furious moving into
the new millenium.

At least your thought patterns are heading in the right direction!

Actually the joke is on you. IBM already controls Java but the SUNW
fanatics are too blind to see it. If you really think Java is going
places then you should invest in IBM.

Case in point with NC's:

Green Terminal Replacement - IBM wins big here

Windows PC Replacement - What are you going to replace Office with?
Yes, Lotus eSuite.

Buy the IBM NC and you buy its server too.

The shotgun marriage between Sun and IBM won't last long.
