I agree that the world economy hangs in balance and strong American leadership can alleviate some of these problems.

The onus of American leadership falls NOT just on our President but also on the American Congress and the American People.

Here is an excerpt from a French leader as released by CNN:

French Socialist deputy Jack Lang, reflecting France's strong distaste for meddling in people's private lives, volunteered to organise free-thinking artists, intellectuals and politicians into an international support movement for Clinton.

be calling for the resignation of the CEO of GM if it came out that he was having an
affair with a secretary. And don't pursue this for partisan political purposes. You will
cripple yourselves in so doing and hurt the world economy.
