AMD, LSCC, ACTL, ALTR, XLNX.. DELL and NSCP

DELL declares split hits whisper number;

NSCP earnings 0.0 versus (0.2) from street, so they beat estimates by $0.02 cents.

Posters lets look for a grand September. According to CNBC correspondent ...there is very much optimism on the street.. They talk about 800 and 900 million volume days in September. Don't forget the new earnings season begins in September, gets stronger in October.. and we still have a couple of weeks now of some earnings coming out!!

Tonight's watch list will focus on the stocks with
a) most 'institutional interest'
b) stocks that have been beaten down
c) stocks that still have higher estimates for 3rd quarter after a slow second quarter.
d)Stock that have broken out of resistance today on high volume (EFII, MCHP, ADCT, ADTN...etc)

"nifty fifty," The 50 largest
capitalization stocks?

did you ever get an answer to this?

Also where did you hear about it?

Something used as a basis for any particular mutual funds?
