I have been thinking about how to get around that anti-FC bias. All of these folks know about SCSI. Maybe you can sell it to the IT shops by saying it is just a longer and switched version of SCSI?

This referenced article was more balanced, but still makes the same point re IT knowledge and understanding of ethernet. There is obviously a huge installed base [not to mention a lot of resources and protective self interest] in promoting GbE. Until FC SAN's become mainstream it seems anything is possible.
