Edde

I agree with your comment about casting the first stone, but have you lied under oath? I have not. Please consider the first stone tossed.

edde, with all due respect, you are part of the problem! You
don't support responsibility for ones own actions, accountability,
the rule of law or constitutional government...just excuses...Are you a parent?

In this country telling a lie in a judicial process under oath is perjury! Do you advocate allowing witnesses in court to lie with
impunity?

It has nothing to do with it.

He has an official capacity and public trust. I don't hate him, don't want to stone him. Each of us makes our own choices.

I just don't think he is qualified to be president, eddie.
You have every right to disagree, of course.

None of us can justify ourselves by pointing the finger -- I am not attempting to do that.

Edde:

Unless you are prepared to be held to a higher standard, you have no business being the President of the United States.

I think your comment is indicative of fuzzy thinking.

First: I have lied, but never under oath.

Second: I have never taken the president's oath and do not claim to have the character and integrity that the leader of this country should have.

Clinton appoints all of the federal judges and the attorney general. He is the de facto head of the federal legal system. For him to lie under oath about anything (let alone about something as trivial as sex), and not be punished is an affront to anyone who appeared in court and told the truth when it would have been easier to lie. It is even worse, when you consider that not only did he lie, but he and his minions engaged in a coordinated campaign to slime his detractors and call them liars. Mr. Clinton likes the power and the perks of the presidency, but does not want to accept any responsibilities. To put it succinctly HE IS WHAT WE HAVE BECOME. It is sad that so many Americans are willing to accept this from the leader of our country.

Live long and prosper,

Little joe

I too have never lied under oath, or urged others to do so.
