He says that they stand by their projections for $75-100 mil. in revenues for '99.

Quite some time ago we saw revenue estimates by the company, and I think at one time they were available on their home page. But I can't find them anymore. Does anyone have a reference to these numbers handy (post # or other)?

let's say 100 millions in revenue for 1999
as I recall, their gross profit margin is quite high compared to their competitors, about 14-15%
assuming any decent PE for IP telephony, we are looking at an undervalued company in DGIV.

Mark,

Thanks for reporting about your call to Roger. The point that really caught my attention was:

"I asked about having more than one U.S. "connection" to these foreign networks, as presently they have only 1 located in L.A. Roger said that they had plans for 5 "connections" in the future."

Especially after Mike Ankley asking the thread earlier about the same thing and RocketMan responding:

"Instead of geographical termination points, think of switches. The Nortel DMS-250 termination switch is scalable, and can handle up to 100,000 trunk lines. If that is not enough, another switch can be added. This switch serves 2/3 or all long distance service in North America, so I don't think we have to worry too much about DGIV running out of capacity for a while."

And then going on to theorize about a second termination point. But five ... that's a lot of calls!

Hi Mark:

regarding:
He knew nothing about the mention of DGIV on CNBC by the NMSS CEO. I have never heard the context of this "mention" either. Can anyone verify if this indeed happened, or just a rumor.

I didn't get to see the show, but have been curious, like many others, as to exactly what was said. So I put an order into Burrelles (http://www.burrelles.com/) for a copy of the video of the interview. Burrelles is a information service that handles dissemination of transcripts/videos of various shows, including CNBC, where the NMSS CEO mentioned DGIV. In the case of this interview, it occurred on the "Squawk Box", and Burrelles only supplies videos of this program and not transcripts.

When I do get the copy, I will try to let everyone know exactly what was said.

Cheers

Mike
