Ibexx...Good point. I'll keep that in mind. I have all my ERP money in SAP, but I'm beginning to think that PSFT might be a good investment if it gets cheap enough. There must be room in the ERP space for more than one player. SAP is the gorilla, and deserves a higher P/E, but as smaller companies adapt ERP software PSFT might be a stronger player. It's much depleted market cap is $9.4 billion so at least it's not tiny.
I added a couple of new big caps to my list recently, EMC and TYC.
I'm looking at Home Depot but haven't bought it yet. Did you know that they have only a 14% share of the market. Considering how crowded my local ones are, I would have guessed much higher.
regards

I'm worried about SAP

I was a long timer, bought my shares at 74, 86, 95, 104 and 126.
I sold my entire position at 58 7/8 just after listing.

I currently believe that when SAP releases earnings using US accounting rules instead of German (BTW, when does this occur?), SAP's PE will suddenly skyrocket to 130+ instead of the 70+ it is now creating tremendous downside pressure...

Ibexx and thread, using your experience, and knowledge, IS THIS A VALID FEAR????
