BT is Bankers Trust. Back in March I felt that with the continued collapse of Asian economies, Japan, HK, China, SA, Eastern European and finally the West's economies would all enter recession/depression on the scale of the 1930's. I feel banks are very vunerable. Especially those with foreign exchange derrivative and Asian/SA debt exposure. As a bonus I play the Y2K hysteria if it materialies. Also, I like to go long on options because playing against the clock is to aggravating.

I didn't want to short (limited profits, unlimited losses). When I purchased the puts on BT in March, it was 118 it rose to 135 and has now trade under 100. On a short I would have made 15% but on the puts I'm up 200%.
