Sonki,

I trade DELL differently than others, I love a splitter, ask Judy..

I intended to buy and hold DELL through earnings since I have a good feel for what they are about and how the stock acts. I really thought LU would split, I also thought AOL might.

As for options, mine are Septembers, so come Sept 4, I will have double the options at half the price for the 2 weeks or so until expiry.

And I do alot of crazy things, but there is a reason behind my wackiness, and as much as DELL rose in after hours, it could have been whacked if it met numbers or beat by a penny.

I think the CC is looking good for DELL, the increase in Asia, the margins increase while the ASP dropped means that they are reaping in the rewards of their model.

My plan is to watch tomorrow, if things get really hot and I get in the money a bit, I might dive if I see weakness. My other side says hold until split, then sell the day before.

I am interested in what all the nay-sayers of DELL have to say now. There are a few people here that were talking it down and said it was in a downtrend... Where are you???

Good job holding Sonki, but I wouldnt hold too many stocks through earnings, this was a special one. I plan on getting a leap on DELL on weakness which ought to come after the split.

David Weiss where are you?
