Mohan... would you be willing to copy your post over to the Dell: facts, stats, thread? It's a nice composite of the news items.

We sure can tell who our friends are by the different spins they put on the news. Some say Dell beat the whisper number. Others say Dell did not beat the whisper number. Some make a big point about falling ASp's without explaining why Dell was able to lower the price.

When is everyone going drop their bias and admit that this is one fine company?

Hang on to your shares Dellheads. Once the money managers get their hands on them you might not be able to get them back.

Long live the Mighty Dell!

Mohan...A clip from Briefing.com....For comparison I will also include the HWP comments as a backdrop for framing our picture perfect DELL:

***********************
Hewlett-Packard (HWP): rallied despite what we considered to be another in a long line of disappointing results... What surprised us was that stock sustained its upside momentum despite cautioning of troubles in Asia, Latin America and the US... Street must be banking on big business out of the emerging Luxembourg and Iceland markets... Sell into gains... Resistance in the 63-65 range.

Dell Computer (DELL): Seems to operate in another world, as company delivered year/year earnings and revenue growth of 62% and 54%, respectively... Sales were strong in all regions... Internet sales now close to $6 mln a day... Forward comments were typically positive... Cash and marketable securities grew to $2.6 bln... Company announced a 2-for-1 stock split, its second one this year... Stock surged nearly 5 points in after hours trading... Should be a big winner in regular trading as well.

Market regaining its optimism over second half outlook for PC sales... Increasingly bullish forecasts (subject to change quickly) driving rebound in the industry and rest of the tech sector.
