ACTIVE??? That is an understatement - 9 cents to 50 cents in 3 trading days and held solid at 50 cents on good volume today. I know little of them other than 5 bags in 3 days

On March 17, 1998, shareholders approved a consolidation of the company's shares on a one new share for each two old share basis and a name change from Golden Eagle Ventures Inc. to Alberta Diamondfields Inc.
The common shares of Alberta Diamondfields will be posted for trading on the ASE in substitution for the common shares of Golden Eagle Ventures at the opening of business on July 3, 1998.

The Financial Post reports in its Wednesday edition that shares of Montello
Resources rose 14.5 cents to 45.5 cents on the Alberta Stock Exchange, on
volume of 1.7 million shares. Market Action columnist Garry Marr notes that
the diamond exploration company says it believes it has found kimberlite, a
rock formation that can show evidence of diamond deposits, on its Legend
property, a 1.5 million acre block in Northern Alberta. Montello shares
soared 45 per-cent and were the most actively traded on the Alberta Stock
Exchange.
