Reliable Science
or
What did they claim ?

Scientific integrity is very important if you wish to be believed. When scientific claims are made, they are generally made through prestigious journals as Jeffrey has indicated. Breakthroughs are common in science.

The Frozen Embryo's

Jimbo may insist that it is politics that caused this project to fail, I take a different view. The project, wasn't a project. The claims made are so nonsensical that it is ridiculous to entertain any further scientific claims by these people. They have already shown their approach to science ; make it up, project revenues and then claim that politics is the problem, not science.

No investor in their right mind would consider the news release science, or anything vaguely resembling science, no more so than the claims about the frozen embryo's. After throwing their scientific credibility out with the frozen embryo's the company decided to move into Shrimp Farming, hence, the Shrimp Company.

Not that they ever produced a shrimp, or even a shrimp tank. They just make the claim. Shrimp Farming is a real industry that is worth billions of dollars, and it will grow bigger. If you want to believe that the company has somehow combined the two industries, make believe science and shrimp farming, that is your right. I will not make that mistake. They have no scientific integrity, as they demonstrated with the Frozen Embryo project.

I have pointed out that many of the plans by this company are designed to leverage pain and suffering, the Shrimp Farmers are suffering and don't need bad scientists to mock the problems they are having. The Shrimp Company has made a mockery of each venture they have entered. They have not failed, they have made a joke out of real suffering and real problems, and they continue to do so.

I think that the claims made by this company border on the obscene, imagine even implying that shareholders will get preferential treatment. It show a new low for hype. People are dying every day and massive amount of R&D dollars are being spent by reputable companies to try and change the human condition, I don't expect my mechanic to make breakthroughs in medicine, and I don't expect Shrimp Farmers will cure anything. I don't expect scientists would suddenly decide to become Shrimp Farmers and I don't think that viral shrimp diseases will be fixed by a computer fraudsters. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic.
