Being an American has nothing to do with it. Being a man does.

Watch out for those glaciers...they can sneak up on you.

Shoot1st.......hey, some of my best friends are Canadian. Club and Bacon come to mind 1st. Boob, where are you when I need you?

Perhaps immorality isn't a sacking offence in this "enlightened" era. However, he proved to the world that he is a liar, and is willing to perpetuate the lie. If he is capable of deception in his personal life, is he capable of deceit in foreign and domestic affairs? Makes you wonder. He should do the right thing and step down.

I can't deal with reading all 300+ silly posts here. But all you men are acting like, well......men.
This is a political topic that should be discussed in political context.
The standard Clinton sound-bite is that Starr has wasted 40M to uncover a 'simple, personal relationship.'
Yesterday, Clinton made it very UNsimple. He cared enough about what Monica might say, that he spent 75M in missiles....that didn't even do such a good job of hitting the target....to try to reinstate his position. Now, this loose cannon bozo has cost 40 + 75 M of OUR money to get us out of his bedroom.
Score: Morals = none. Ethics = none. Leadership = none. Intelligence = none. And the idiots that still believe him need a wake-up call.
Hell, I was asked to go out with him in 1988....never had heard of him, but the come on was what a charismatic leader he was. I was not told he was married, and Dallasites pay no attention to Ark politics. I declined, purely based on the way he was 'sold' to me...not that he was kind, intelligent, fun...any of the NORMAL attributes when trying to match a date. I've been forever grateful. It taught me a lot about this little round-headed boy then.....and nothing has changed.

There are a few differences in this matter which you have over looked. First the matter isn't about Bill Clinton banging an intern in OUR White House ,but the fact he lied about it to everyone he knew and lots of us he didn't, has put each of us in a very difficult position. I for one don't want a national leader who can't tell the truth and worse doesn't care. I doubt he'll be impeached but the process of examination must be followed through. As for the notion of a corporate executive being fired over an adulterous affair, probably not but lying about it or corporate business, you bet he/she would be. Also it is usually very hard to know all since corporate america is far more private than the White House.
