OFF SUBJECT.. Home Depot is one of the very rare big caps to sell at a P/E close to it's forward 12 month growth. The importance of the 14% is that it means they have lots of room to grow. I calculate that there's one Home Depot for about every 400,000 people in America. Also, I think the concept is exportable . Institutions own 52%, which is less than a lot of other brand name consumer companies (for instance Dayton Hudson is 78% owned by institutions). The same store 7% sales growth is also impressive. Gee, I've about talked myself into buying some while writing this post!
