Kemble,
From today's IBD:

DELLS' PROFIT KEEPS GOING AS JUMPS 73% IN 2ND QTR
Round Rock, Texas-based Dell Computer earned 50 cents a share in the second quarter, up from strong year-ago net of 29 cents. Results beat the highest views by 2 cents, and the consensus by 4 cents. Sales grew 54% to $4.3 billion, including $6 million a day over the Internet. Gross margins hit a record 22.7%, up from 22.2% last quarter. High demand and lower component costs were key. Dell set a 2-for-1 split.

Best,
Steve
