So, who's developing remote access gear with DELL?

djane, I wouldn't worry too much about this announcement. NT has had remote access capabilities for awhile, and there are reasons why it isn't exploited more.

Its only suitable for very low end applications, like companies with just a few dial-in users.

1) You're limited to just a few available slots in a PC server.
2) These slots are enclosed in the systems; not accessible.
3) Not hot swappable.
4) No power supply redundancy.
5) Not to mention the OS itself just can't handle very many simultaneous users, because this just wasn't its intent.

One company they could be working with is Digi International (DGII). They supply this type of ISDN connectivity on PCI boards.
