It's the best company to own in emerging markets, period. Request the certificates from your broker and stick them in a safe deposit box. Open it in 50 years. Give it to your grandkids. I'll confess I pay as much attention to the day-to-day swings as anyone, and would add that I am pleased that we seem to outperform the Hang Seng in both up and down markets. Besides, if we think CHL was a screaming buy at 22, I'm sure others must have found other bargains as well, in the transports or utilities or other red chips. We may have found a bottom, the goverment's intervention not withstanding. Cheers, Julius. Paul
