You are right, Clinton doesn't deserve to be elevated to the status of "jerk". You too may some day rise to that level but for now you can only dream of attaining that potential.

Clinton is not a "jerk" as it is too mild a term. The correct term is Scumbag, SCUMBAG, SCUMBAG, SCUMBAG ...

So is it and so sez,
humble carl

Personally, I think it's about time people stopped trying to be so circumspect - if you think someone lied, call them a liar. If you think he's a cad or a jerk, say so. No more "weasel words". Clinton is not being accused of not volunteering information, or being somewhat misleading, he's being accused of lying. Also, IMHO, someone with as much power and prestige as the President that continues to try to convince us that the most powerful man in the world having sex with an impressionable, ambitious, flighty 21 year old groupie is either okay or consensual (in sexual harassment cases, it's not considered consensual when one person can exercise so much control over the other person's career, regardless of whether that person complains), is a jerk.

When Dick Morris (now there's a paragon of virtue <g>) was asked if he would let his daughter become an intern at the White House, he replied that she had wanted to do so, but he got her job as a Congressional page instead. And he somehow considers her safe there?
