Ratan: Thanks for further elucidation of the word VAISHYA. It appears that this word is open for misinterpretation and double meaning; Or could it be that its meaning is contextual. Any Sanskrit Pundits out there to define and separate the business people from the ladies of the night so far the word meaning is concerned; work experience with either is not necessary.<gg> May be the business people and ladies of the night are one and the same.<VBG> Why bother to separate one from another. Businessmen always somehow end up with the ladies of the night on their trips anyway. You can't keep them away from each other. They live in symbiosis. JPR
