No more than good old Ronnie about not remembering Iran/Contra...But we all know that selling arms to the enemy isn't nearly as important than cheating on your wife and lying about it...That's why Ronnie never got impeached :)

Throw the rascals out: Clinton -lied ro protect himself, but at least he knew he was lying. Nixon -lied ro protect himself, knew he was lying, but did not think of it as a moral issue. Regan -lied to protect us all from the demons in his dreams, knew he was lying, but sadly, got confused and forgot what he lied about. I would forget too if I had to face up to violating the Constitution of the United States in order to betray my country to an enemy foreign power. While constrained from doing so by a specific act of his Congress, Regan, in his right mind or not, conspired to sell deadly arms to our sworn enemy Iran while they were engaged in the very act of killing our servicemen stationed abroad. The purpose of this treasonous act was to finance terrorism by in Latin America under the guise of a phony cutthroat national liberation movement called the "Contras". The drugs sold by Contras to American school children, also illegal, and which was the third side of this triangle trade conspiracy, was probably just an embarissing sideline. In a moment of inspired derangement with co-patriot Col. Ollie North, Regan even referred to the Contras as "the George Washingtons and Thomas Jeffersons of their country." But, I must admit, I have always liked the Regan smile. George Busch -lied to protect his son, who was busy looting the Savings and Loan and Banking System. ( which failed to the tune of $900,000,000,000 in taxpayer money that is now a major portion of the national debt) Oh, and lets not forget, George Busch got his start as the last man on Earth to be Nixon's Whitehouse press officer & spin doctor during the most desperate hours.
