CNBC just did a one minute report on insider buying in the oil sector. The gist is that insiders have been buying heavily and that they are usually pretty good at buying at the right time. CNBC didn't give any statistics (i.e., no. of shares bought, by whom, and at what prices), but they did mention a few names, including SLB, ESV and a couple of oil companies including APA.

With any luck, they'll run the report about 10 times today.

I think yesterday was the first day in recent memory when nobody on the thread called a bottom for the OSX (I may have missed a couple of posts). That's pretty refreshing. Can we make it two days in a row?

China has had to shut down oil wells due to flood conditions caused by the Yangtse River. China, with its Billion plus people has a strong demand for oil and gas. Winter is coming. More demand on oil?
