product receives regulatory approvals. During a lock-out period, no
employee is to buy or sell stock, or initiate bank loans with the stock as
collateral. The intent is avoiding signaling news about the company's
performance to outsiders.

Brady, a lock up period is a period during which a holder of restricted shares is not allowed to sell them.

After the lock-up period is over, the holder is allowed to register and sell the shares.
