Greta,

I went to jury duty with a grumpy attitude. But that changed
when a blind woman with a guide dog came into the jury
assembly room. She declined to be exempted from jury duty
because of her disability, so I realized that I had no reason
to be unhappy about being there.

I was selected for the first jury panel, and by chance I was
seated next to the blind woman and her dog, a yellow Labrador
retriever. She said she has a full-time job as a switchboard
operator and uses city buses for all her transportation. She's
a remarkable person.

We never made it to a trial . . all the cases for that court were
dismissed, delayed or whatever.

Looks like another good day in the market. :-)
