<You need more features than most users because of what you are trying to do. It will be far easier for Formula One to implement the new features that Excel 2000 has than it will be for Microsoft to dream up new ones.> I understand your point, but it appears obvious that you haven't seen Excel 2000 yet. DHMTL, VML, and XML all in a seemless authoring package with central distribution, better security model, the list goes on. I doubt very seriously if a company can replicate these feats in Java in the near term.
