Zeem,

I know the tendency to exult, and to want to 'rub their noses in it', but just remember... someday you may be on the other end of the situation... It's bad enough to make a bad financial decision. Anyone who doesn't own DELL will come to that conclusion on their own.

Today it has to be purely bad enough NOT to own DELL, without having someone gratuitously making comments about one's intellect and genetic heritage.

Zeem, I made a promise to Eddie and Elwood that I'd stay off of the CPQ Thread if they'd stay away from here.

Elwood has agreed to do so. Eddie didn't want to agree to that.

Nevertheless, Compaq is simply a company that we can't learn much from (with the exception of what not to do), and therefore, I'd rather learn over here from you guys.
