The sights I use are wallstreetcity.com and the WSJ interactive edition. The exact definition can be obtained from these sights.
Basicly the On Balance Volume slightly precedes the price movements and the way and magnitude of the OBV moves tells of truly bearish or
bullish trends. So, when you have stock going down, down, down and tha OBV stays steady or bearly declines the false bear can be revealed. The Williams %R(WMS%R) is a type of over sold/over bought
indicator that will allow you time to sell or buy before the actual price move or change in trend may occur. It usually will give you 1 or 2 days advance notice. When the WMS%R is between -80 and -100 and the indicator moves from down or flat to up it is a potential buy signal and when its between 0 and -20 and it turns down from flat or up it is a potential sell signal. All the indicators available need to be used in conjunction with one another to be effective and it never is 100% accurate-----but it allows us to read the possible road maps of the MM's and specialists and avoid the pitfalls and get out before losing all.
