I'm thinking $75.00.

Tim, they may offer $50, but I can guarantee you there will be no takers. My thinking ASND will not sell for less than $60, maybe more toward $65. And whatever the price, hopefully Mory will negotiate a collar to prevent the inevitable downdraft to LUs stock price when the deal is announced.

It sure appears to me LU and ASND are in a holding pattern. After watching CNBC and NBR and tidbits here and there on the net, there sure does appear to be a strong consensus among various types of analysts that a big drop is still in the wings. It would seem very appropriate to me that this would happen within the next three weeks. Too few stocks are reporting good earnings, earning warnings will be coming out, MM's are still vacationing in the Hamptons, Clinton is scrambling for BIG TIME damage control, Japan's HUGE loan problems are starting to becoming public and it's government does not appear to be ready to discuss reform measures.
Domestically things couldnt be better as far as interest rates and inflation. Gold is going nowhere. Bonds and commodities are flat. There is still a TON of cash on the sidelines. MM's just aren't convinced now is the time. But I think that the closer we get to reporting time (2nd week in September) we should see some solid flows into the market. Couldnt be more bullish on ASND but Im not going to fight the tape this time.
So much for todays market letter. Donations are graciously accepted, even pennies! Comments please!

I am certainly no TA guy, but could this be the stock establishing a base until rumor season or earnings season begin? Haven't we been around here for a while( not including the run into the 50's and the sra-related plunge)?
