What the hell are they doing? We knew naked records was a bust- and it is gone. But what is with this $5M that we are paying Opticom for a games storage device? Buying Simis for 2M and selling for .1M? Hell, I invest better than that! Does anybody know the details? Did we get anything out of it while we owned them? Team Apache has been on the shelf for a month, so development costs would have only run another few months...surely it would have made better than 100K? Had we paid for any development costs for their games? In other words, was there a big accrued royalty liability that we were able to write off?

As for the option deal, hell I don't want them to get shit! They have become profitable and want to rob the damn company! They have made TR a hit, got lucky with Opticom (though they seem happy to give back the paper profits with current dollars with this gaming storage device), and have screwed the pooch on every other deal. FF7 was screwed up. DD has been ripped to shreds by virtually every reviewer and on both platforms...yet the chairman keeps getting royalties...which brings up the point that it seems that there is a lot of activity between the board and associated businesses...Arm's length; yeah, I'm sure...

But if we don't do the option thing(and it is really out of our control anyway, of course, though we may be able to send a message), will they not fatten the salaries further? *sigh*

As for the fundamentals; I wouldn't call them great. What the hell kind of Balance sheet is that anyway :) My hope is that our prepaid royalties will generate some big hits (more Commandos please...), and that we have a great fall/x-mas....

My one big idea is this: spin off all the shit, and just be a software company...forget investing in storage companies or record companies,or video editing...look at the income statement and see where the priorities lay...If they could control costs and focus on software things would be looking up...The financials tell a decent story...the notes to financials tell a much worse story...
