...and immediately sold them

except for tippet, the boys over on the Asia
thread were not too impressed with the purchase,
fortunately, did not lose anything in those
warrants--tho KL did give back everything it
had gained just this past day. As far as the
SOA, it was my guess that we might see gold
start to take off, and gold is down today, so
there is no sense in being in that cef if gold
stays dead. Funny, you would think that with
these rolling devaluations, gold might come
to life, but greenbacks and marks still get
all the attention.

Hey, if rates go low enough, maybe I'll have to
bite on one of those home equity adverts that
show up everyday--and buy stocks with the money
Ha ha.

So here is the corrected list, and I added the
price at which I bought them...

ARIA, Ariad...3 5/16
ARIAW, Ariad warrants...1/4
FSENX, Fidelity Select Natural Gas Fund...12 1/2
GZTC, Genzyme Transgenics...5 23/32
NTII, Neurobiological Tech...1 1/8
PCTH, Pacific Aerospace...3 13/32
SIBI, Sibia Neurosciences...4
TGEN, Targeted Genetics...1 9/16

For some reason Repligen got dropped, but I only had
a trivial amount of that anyway. PCTH is the latest
addition--mainly because I got bored with waiting
to see the chart turn up...seems to have stopped
going down at least. Bought all three-thirds at
once, definately the sign of somebody who has
been floudering in this market, and is flailing/
grasping. Also, finished liquidating the swebf
disaster.

Regarding immediatedly having dumped ewm and soa,
here is the link on the Asia thread where I compiled
the reactions over there

I still think SOA is okay to buy when gold
turns up, you get some exposure to gold and the price
has really been whacked, plus a discount to nav...if
I ever put new money in, maybe I'll look at it again.
Here is a link for gold price:

I think I need to spend less time following this
junk--and more time outdoors, I see I am fast
hurtling toward post 100 on my lonely thread.
The important thing to watch out for is when this
hobby crosses over to a genuine gambling addiction:
I think since no money has come out of my pocket to
trade this year (and having closed the option account
and the datek account) I'd guess I'm only about halfway
there.
