GF...I think Russia [Government CB] has used it's gold to back the bonds that they recently sold to the European Markets....Germany!!!! But the Banks in Russia may be able to sell their gold holdings...as was set up recently in Russia. I don't see how they can actually affect the market in any major way....Maybe Bill Murphy has some insight nd could respond...Karen
