I recommend one of the nationals, like MCI, Sprint, GTE, maybe the IBM network. AOL is, imho, the worst to pick as an ISP.

I've used them all on the road. Mu suggestion is Earthlink. Had Sprint but you can't get it anymore since they merged with ELNK.

Absolutely stay away from Concentric, Netcom, Compuserve, AOL
