FYI, as a part time social activist, I am well versed in SLAP suits & legal threats & they have not budged me to date. I've ignored unconstitutional injuctions from corrupt federal judges, infiltrated opposition activitist groups that had made death threats against members of my group (a group comitted to active non-violence.) We successfuly argued prior restraint of free speech in response to a requested injunction against leaflets where I used to live. I also framed the central point of Supreme Court majority opinion as a pro-se litigant, so if a company thinks they can intimidate me from sharing OPINIONS in a public forum, I assure you it will be a vain attempt. I've also gotten BS threats on other threads with similar non-results. My conscious and legal basis are quite clear. Scott Once reason an OTC may be reluctant to actually initiate a SLAP suit is the problem with the Discovery phase of a civil suit. A defendant would develop as a defense that there was a reasonable basis for their opinions/conclusions & seek to gather evidence for that position. Another is the likely response of a malicious litigation counter suit. FYI Scott
