Jocko,

Stop giving advice, you have shown you know nothing and you don't even know the right questions to ask. You have been proven wrong on every occassion you have challenged me and it will happen again with the capitalization of other operating expenses related to Gresham and you will see it in Q1.

I am really beginning to think you are related to Clinton, even when you are caught point blank in lies, deceit and ignorance you just keep on doing your little dance. Do everyone a favor and get lost and stop giving your worthless advice.

What drives me crazy is that LSI is still probably going to
have a profit this year and next. Look at MU, where they are
supposed to lose money both these years. Yet their stock is
quite a bit up from the lows, and of course we know where LSI
is. They should have warned about third quarter in their previous
conference call if there was ANY risk of missing estimates. Companies
like MSFT and INTC know how to work analysts' expectations lower to prevent the bomb factor. Get with it, IR!

ps: must admit that from your report of the CC, things sound incredibly grim short term. Hope they're giving us the worst case
scenario.

pps: Thanks for the info and CC#!

The picture Wilf painted is bleak for the high end - if he is right, the while high tech sector should be tanking real soon. Either he is out of touch, as in his products are not as well positioned as he thinks i.e. his products are in obsolete systems, or else everybody else are wrong! Just look at CSCO/IBM go!

This is mid-Aug and he has no prediction for even Sept?! Even DRAM companies can forecast better than that!!

Poking fun at shorts 4 weeks into a quarter only to do an about-turn 2 weeks later! No wonder this co gets no respect in the investment community. At minimum, the mktg VP should be fired for having zero forward visibility into his business.

I hope that somebody do a hostile buy-out so I can get my money out fast, but I doubt it.
