Does this mean the lease sale is kaput? Or is the 12 million acres only a portion of the total acreage? Wonder why they gave Mobil exclusive rights? Maybe to speed things up as Mobil has a billion barrel discovery in the area. Elf also has a Billion + field, I wonder if they too will become involved. Things are definitely looking up with Schlumberger and Mobil's involvement. $5 a share may arrive sooner than we think. If Mobil likes what they find they may swallow ERHC.

Looks like no $3-5 per share from the sale of leases. How is this good? One company controlling that much acreage sucks! They will drill on one block and do little with the others. I would rather see 10 company's with their required budget on each block, which would mean exploration of some sort on ALL blocks at the same time, and more drilling. Obviously the market agrees with me. Glad I sold at a higher price. I might buy in at 50 cents.
