Tony, Thanks for answer. When I was in it bit slice ECL emulations of slower CPU's, like 6502, 8008 etc were popular(ran at 60 Mhz., wow!). Like anything tech advances and the density of CMOS makes it faster and denser. I see the gradual descent to 2 volts as speeds go higher, this makes me wonder if they are running non saturating logic, or just following EI loses down as E falls.
