To various "thread" participants...

Insofar as a share repurchase is concerned, don't hold your breath.

The company didn't really do it a couple of years ago, despite the fact that its cash balances were adequate, its inventory needs were lower, and it had only recently announced the repurchase intentions.

Now, the company has unduly high inventory (from last quarter's MOT stretchouts), a China expansion plan, and a good reason to conserve capital.

In short, I doubt it. However, it isn't as though this management has never "fooled" me. Some sophisticated investors I know have opined that a buyback is possible. If re-instituted, it is my guess that minimal shares will be repurchased on this one, too.

Why should we expect management to behave differently than the last time?

The above link from Yahoo on the TFS page yields another article on CBS MarketWatch:
cbs.marketwatch.com

So, we thought no one was watching TFS. Apparently we were wrong about that too cause we're also under earnings surprises and market movers. Pratfalls always get wide attention.
