Ike, I wonder if you have given much thought to the revision in the US government's computation of the saving rate. According to current data the rate is miniscule. My question is specificly how far do you think the markets have to drop before people start to sell their stocks in order to protect wealth? As a related idea how big a market drop would be necessary to crimp consumption?
