Uncle Frank, I join you in your salute to Anthony for the valuable information he brings to our thread...He and BigKNY3 are tremendous assets to this thread, and we all owe them a big thank you!!! Although we thank them frequently for the valuable news, information, and the good old Peabody report we receive, we can never thank them enough!!

Uncle Frank, zurdo, flickerful, Yore: I appreciate your kind words, but believe me when I say that I enjoy posting the articles as much as you do read them. It's not hard work, it's nothing compared to Mr. Peabody's thoughtful commentaries and the Big Pharma reports

Uncle Frank, $1.5B in 1999 is indeed a bit low, but don't you think it's better to have a conservative estimate so that there are margins for upward surprizes, and hopefully we'll get another nice pop up on earnings release? IMHO, the short and medium term trends [of PFE's chart] are both up. Some of the media stories from Europe are silly (sauce Viagra, sex on the BBC etc) but they are much better for the investment psyche than the "vision loss" and "death" reports.

BTW, thread, LLY has broken out today.
